Yep, that is right. School is canceled today, imagine that. No, it isn't the snow levels that others of you get in comparison (Montana, Idaho, etc.), which is far greater and school still happens. It is our school buses which have no chains or ability to drive in the white stuff without havoc. Kids are cheering for now, until they have to make up the day later on in the school year on a day they would usually have off. Then you'll hear the boo-hoo-ing.

I have to chuckle about your snow days! My kids drive to school with a foot of snow on the road and the only 'snow day' when school was cancelled was 5 years ago when the snow was so heavy it broke the power lines!
