This past weekend I went with friends to Havasupai Falls. We were curious to see what had changed from when we went two years ago since they had a flood go though last year.
Looking down from the hilltop to the trail below. This is where you start and go down, but where you must also climb back out to leave.
This was our first view of what the flood took out. It was an amazing sight to see how much land had washed away.

The new bathroom facilities were the best thing to discover. Not flush, but so much better than what was there on the prior trip.
There was a new pump installed to get drinking water in the campground.
We walked farther down to see Mooney Falls.
These are the beautiful cascades made by the travertine benches.
Looking up at the side of the cliff to see where we had to come down to Mooney Falls. That is also the only way back up.
Heidi and Serena were discovering the treats in the MRE (meal, ready to eat) which her brother Mark brought. It had the cutest little bottle of Tabasco sauce!
Of course I took photos of flowers and growing things.
