Hiking in the Rain in So. Utah

My nephew Kurtis was down visiting my other nephew Lukas before Christmas. We went to check out the damage from all the rain. We ended up hiking in Snow Canyon to see some great waterfalls. We had to ford some streams on the way to see Three Ponds. At first, Kurtis piggy backed me to get across the water washes so I wouldn't get my shoes wet. Later on, we just sloshed through. It wasn't too cold. On the way back to his truck, the first wash of water was just a bit too much of a torrent to cross so we walked down the service road to the southern entrance and called Heidi to rescue us. She gave us a ride back to the northern entrance of the park and back to Kurtis' truck. By then we were pretty wet and a bit cold. But we did see some great waterfalls.
